Where passion for tennis meets expert coaching! I'm Dr. Greg Fields, fondly known as "Coach Doc," a retired professional educator with 40 years of experience ranging from classroom teacher to Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.

My tennis journey includes being an instructional professional and head tennis instructor in Westchester County, New York. I have also worked with developing young talents in Georgia, including my sons who earned tennis scholarships to a prestigious university. A proud winner of over 45 tennis tournaments, I truly enjoy sharing my love, experience and knowledge of this great sport. With certifications from the United States Tennis Association (USTA), as well as the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), with affiliations with HEAD Tennis and the Georgia Tennis Association (GTA) - I offer comprehensive coaching for all ages. Whether you're a budding young player, an experienced competitor, or an adult looking to improve your game, Doc’s Tennis Academy is your go-to destination for top-notch tennis development. Founder & Lead Instructor

Hi! My tennis background includes serving as an instructional professional for the Westchester County (New York) Parks and Recreation Department from 1978 to 1982 and head tennis instructor for a county-wide sports program in Dutchess County, New York, from 1984 to 1987. Since moving to Georgia (1993 to present) I worked toward the development of my sons who received tennis scholarships to a prestigious southeastern university. Over the years I have won more than 35 tennis tournaments and I still actively participate in highly competitive tennis leagues. I am fully certified by: the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to coach Youth Tennis, the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) to instruct and coach ages 11 to 17, a member of Team HEAD Tennis and a member of the Georgia Tennis Association (GTA). I also work with adults of all ages.

Hello! I'm the Lead Assistant Coach at Doc's Tennis Academy, where my passion for tennis and dedication to coaching come together to create a dynamic learning environment for our students. With a strong background in competitive tennis and several years of coaching experience, I bring a blend of technical expertise and motivational skills to the court. My journey in tennis began at a young age, leading me to compete in various tournaments and later, to focus on coaching. I'm particularly skilled in working with young, aspiring tennis players, helping them develop their technique, strategy, and mental game. My approach to coaching is centered around understanding each player's unique strengths and challenges, ensuring personalized guidance that fosters both skill development and a love for the game. At Doc's Tennis Academy, I'm committed to nurturing the next generation of tennis talent, ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
